Don't just mist the surface - wet it completely so the liquid beads up on the surface. The chart on the label tells how long to leave it on the surface. It will be at least 30 seconds, depending on which germs you are targeting.
Then, wipe the surface thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth. Microfiber cloths work especially well. Wiping the surface thoroughly will prevent any stickiness.
